A lovely shot of these pretty Blue Eyed Grass flowers, something I have never seen before - great lighting and good clarity captures them in wonderful detail, showing the lines on the light blue petals and the short yellow tipped stamen on the foremost two flowers superbly, along with what looks like little snails, but I figured they are actually a part of the plant! good DOF with it's neighbours at varying stage of bloom in the background and the dullish blurred ground accentuates the subjects even further. Great shot and best of luck in the competition! :)

Thank you very much for your throughout review. Those are indeed snails. You were right at your first assumption.

This is a lovely shot of the flowers! Small and beautiful! You have framed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good luck!

If these are really teeny tiny then I think I have seen these at our wetlands. Love the colors of the blue/violet and sunny yellow centers.
Fine focus, Controlled Exposure with nice DOF.
Good luck in the contest.

These blue flowers are lovely! Good use of depth of field to get the main flowers sharp and the flowers in the background out of focus. Great light and color. Good luck in the contest!

Colorful capture. The angle of the shot of these colorful flowers is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Very well composed and framed take.

Excellent detail and focusing of these blue blossoms.

DOF is spot on for high definition in the foreground and is deep enough to keep the 3 main items in fine detail.

Background is blurred enough that the viewer can easily recognize other blossoms.

The image has very good visual impact and is easy to view.

Well done ... B-)) Bob

A beautiful picture of Blue Eyes in the Grass their sky blue petals facing the sun & sky above as if reflecting or absorbing their colour from above. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Quite a nice entry for your contest! Your fine central composition grants us a good look at them. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Are these the "Bluebells" of Great Britain?
