A very nice indigenous styled carving. I don't know enough to be able to see this as a family totem or a story about village life, however it is interesting to muse about. Hate to say it this way, but I really don't care about that because it is a well crafted object of beauty. It is enjoyable to view. Reasons for my five vote.

Yogendra, this is exquisite work. I look at the detail and the dimensional proportions to your art and can see you are gifted in your field. This is done with fine hard work and looks to me like a meditation in motion.
It reminds me of some of the work done by the Haida People on the west coast of Canada.
You have also posted it very nicely. There is good marginal space all around your sculpture and that makes it easy for us to enjoy and when we enjoy it that means your art has meaning and touches us.

This is an beautiful and unusual work of art.
The carving is masterly done. I appreciate especially how the subjects of the carving seem to emerge from the wood and how the textures of the wood are used to emphasize those subjects.

A beautiful, superbly carved wooden sculpture, fantastically and carefully and delicately carved to express your imaginative interpretation of nature, from the swans or birds of some kinds necks at the top bending over and neatly into tree or mushroom like carvings into this piece of wood, that slowly leads the viewer onto huts or housing of some kind and then rocks and perhaps baskets to carry them? so much squeezed into this fine sculpture, exquisitely carved and finished to a very high standard - and with brilliant expression. An unusual but brilliant entry for the competition - best of luck!! :)

I think this wooden sculpture is truly stunning, and I like that you have presented it so well with a well taken photo. It is easy to see that you have paid very good attention to details when you carved this, and it so many lovely ones to be seen in the finished sculpture.

I think this wooden sculpture is truly stunning, and I like that you have presented it so well with a well taken photo. It is easy to see that you have paid very good attention to details when you carved this, and it so many lovely ones to be seen in the finished sculpture.
