This is really a beautifully done work of art. The colors in the sky are soft and add a
realm of comfort to the feel of the photo. The sea is calm and very soothing to look at,
and I especially like the one wave against the boat. Excellent perspective and a great initial impact.
Wonderful and beautiful notes written by a true artist,
although on somewhat personal note, I thought it was very deep and thought provoking, as I am no where near ready to think about taking that journey!

Thanks Paul. Yes I have been getting deep on some of the photos. Not sure why. Some just seem to lend themselves to passing on HIS Message. I'm just the messenger.

As usual very poetic notes to be touched by, and followed by a beautiful image. I especially like the simplicity and all the lovely blue and pink hues. You have also captured a lovely shine and reflections in the sea, and the boat is the perfect foreground.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the boat. I also think the exposure is spot on.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, but you could perhaps have had just a tad more space on the right. A minor issue though, because this is a truly lovely and well taken photo and with an excellent DOF.

Thank you very much Annie. Yes it was too tight in the original. That's what I get for concentrating on catching a wave in front of the boat and forgetting where I was with the scene. Lesson learned. Thanks again Annie ~ Steve

Focus on your boat to eternity is CRISP!! Beautiful job there. I see here are no oars but imagine once we get on that boat we will need to no oars, yes? Colors in the sky are just amazing and beautifully reflected in the water. It is well exposed...and framed artistically w/ your boat right frame.
Wherever you have cloned out distractions you have done it deftly....not a hint anywhere. Lovely piece BB....so well presented and, as I said, I love love love the notes. Oh and btw- just sent a note re: the two images. Have a look.

Thanks BB. I forgot to mention that there are no oars. You have to push the boat there. Kind of a bummer but you can't have Everything. I will check out the notes. I know the one is oversaturated in the clouds right? I think so anyway. I'm working on a couple more for you. Having to take time out from the beach and rum and coke means it is a really S L O W process ; )

A good perspective ....your timing with the crashing of waves right in front of the lone boat with the cast of sunset light illuminating the beach making that element of your foreground stand out.
