This is an excellent choice for Black and White Contest and good contender and good luck. I like the dynamics of this shot as well as a good tonal range in your photography. Beautifully framed and well composed shot. You have done a great job picking an aperture that renders all but the back petals in spot on sharp focus giving your overall photography a very artist shot. I think your low perspective is aiding in your composition. The details in this shot are incredible as well as the lighting. Outstanding photography and thanks for sharing.

nice focus and light handling, but the fact that the left pedals are partial cut off when there is a lot of unused space on the right takes from the initial impact
