I wouldn't say work together: rather a species accepting another one, usually fighting togethet;
maybe you have seen about 2 years ago an excellent document from Nat.Geo. of a lioness with babies who was taken care of a baby antelope left alone after his mom was killed;

A very interesting picture of the Jackal Puppy in among the Vultures at a kill that would not normally happen. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
