I like your experience tale and it gives me the chills as I also have had visions about art. I love the close up of the shore and mid water but then the background leaves one lost as to what this is. Are those clouds I can't tell. I like your colors and good detail though. Nice job!

    Thank you for your five star vote and your comments. Yes those are bronze smoke colored clouds. When the wild fire season is especially rough on a full moon night sometimes the clouds can look like this because not only is there that smoke fog in the sky but the clouds themselves are impregnated with the smoke particles. Actually eerie looking. In addition Elephant Butte lake is long enough that the horizon when looking south can appear to fade into the sky. Guess my dreaming was a form of remembering.

This is just beautiful and I would love to have a dream like this. Your colors and textures are just lovely. The foreground gives the impression of viewing a stream just before it cascades over a rock fall.
