Some fascinating facts about this truly amazing creature in your narrative, thank you for the details - And a great shot of one of these true wild and beautiful canines, dangerous as they may be it is only the skills mother nature provided for them to survive in such an unforgiving life in the wild, and I think they sometimes get bad press and certainly a bad reputation for this. The clarity is excellent, as is the subdued lighting, and shows the beautiful thick mane and coat of fur, in lovely layered shades of brown and grey that give it it's name. It's facial features are captured brilliantly with fine detail, and the eyes are captured wonderfully. The tightly cropped/positioned shot is perfect and the blurred dark background accentuates the piece further - a wonderful piece, great work :)

I think they have gotten a bad rap but the ancient Celts and Native Americans held them in very high regard. They are such gregarious and social animals and they are loyal to the death, they will defend their pack to the point of sacrificing their own life for the protection of the pack if necessary - much like our dogs :) Gotta love 'em!
Thank you for the very nice review.

This is a wonderful shot of the wild like. You have timed it well to get that look on his face. The colours, light and shadows and the composition have worked well. Good effort!
