A solid, poignant and quite serious piece to be painting and posting here, as there are many christian members I'm sure - but it has no offence, hopefully the skull under the crucifix is for emphasis of the death of christ and the suffering and sadness of this part of the story. Great detail and depiction of Jesus up high on the cross, with a golden and green wild sky behind contrasting well and accentuating the piece further, and well composed to put him at the centre of the piece to grab the viewer. Lovely work, well done :)

The artwork does have a message. This is a very well painted rendition of the crucifix on top of a deadly looking mountain. The colors of the background are very effective in creating a super lighting. They are a good choice to highlight the subject.
