A nice and simple but effective capture, well timed and with good timing and choice of portrait framing - the flag is just allowing the full and clear moon to be viewed, as though politely holding the door open for somebody to pass through. The stars and stripes still clearly visible, and great clarity throughout, especially the detail on the moon considering the LONG DOF you need for that one! He. Well cropped and composed, a lovely shot and well done :)

I did not see the moon at first. The flag is the main color in the frame. On the other hand, the flag is being watched over by the moon. It is very surreal. Nice catch. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
