I like the way you handled the low light. It looks like you used a high color temp to get that color saturation in the background. The details of the heron's plumage looks good and the reflection is almost a mirror image.

Beautiful shot Fred of this grey heron. The reflection is excellent and the lighting is soft and really enhances the detail in the bird. A wonderful capture at sunrise of this beautifully colored heron.

This is of course all about reflections Fred, but you have also captured this Heron really well. I like very much the dark background because the bird is standing out so well from it, and I also like how the light is falling on the bird.

Your photo is also sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird. The exposure is perfect.

I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the bird is well placed within the frame. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo and with an excellent DOF.

Very pretty shot. It is even interesting if you turn it sideways, too. I love the strong reflection in the water of the heron and how you framed it. Nice details and lighting. Overall, this has great initial impact.
