Dramatic in light and added shadows, proportioned perfectly in body shapes, a beautiful blend of deep and dark colors and unique in pose and subjects. Vertical framing is well suited for this subject with just enough space on the right for her view.

I like this very much and wonder if this loaded darker than your actual work...? I would love to see that bit of intricacy you have in her face, her lapels and her sash. You have a way of adding those little surprises in your freedom with your overall work. You are a talented artist. It is a pleasure sharing this site with you.

Makes me think of Joan of Arc. Looks like she is from another century. Body and face well done. Nice composition. Well framed. Did you submit something else to the art Portrait contest? This would have been a good entry. The splashes of yellow and red (hair) are a nice touch. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
