an impressive capture of this metallic starling, the iridescent colours in the plumage are beautiful and very well captured, nice clear eye and beak, the bird stands out clearly against the blurred back ground, I like the angle of the branch which is well placed in the frame. nice work.

Great capture of this colourful Starling, Grace, as he perches on the branch. They do have an amazing range of colours in their glossy feathers and you've shown this well. Excellent lighting and focus. Very nice composition. Suzanne

This is really an amazing shot of this amazing bird .
It's your focus which brings forward the intricate details of the bird's feathers , beak and his eye .
The blood red eye !
It's a very cool piece and thank you for shooting !

What a wonderful shot. I love the softness of the background with just the hint of leaves. The iridescent reflections on the starling are spectacular. I really enjoy viewing this photograph.

A fine shot that shows his iridescent plumage very well. I like the colors as well as the cropping. The eye is well shown and is unlike any I have ever seen.

What a darling Starling!! (sorry, had to say that, hahahha)

Your colors are just shimmering here Grace.

Your techs are perfect as we see so well defined details throughout and that eye is just stunning.

Nice shot. The iridescent colors in the feathers are well captured and the red eye is haunting. Maybe had a little too much to drink last night. The branch makes a good diagonal leading line in the shot. The background works well. Good job!

This is a six star plus GG, But I am out and can't wait till tomorrow as I know I am giving your Other post a six.
What i enjoy most about your work is your understanding of camera techs and informative notes on each of your subjects.
I don't get to discuss camera techs with many because they still use auto settings. I like that I have a few here I can learn from.
Your settings are spot on to capture this gorgeous bird and yet another I have never seen.
Focus, placement within the frame, eye clarity and white balance control offering true and natural colors through out are all SPOT ON!
incredible find and capture.
you are my GEM GG ~ MIB!

What a stunning bird. The eye looks so surreal. Good detail, DOF and colours in this shot. Like the blurred background. Well done and thanks for sharing
