Nik, a very tranquil place for resting. Not only for the dead but for the living as well. I find such peace in a place like this.

Your complimentary greens against the drab of the tombstones is so beautiful.

Seeing the ocean and sky almost together as one is also adding to a great scene.

I would like to think we all ascend. I don't believe in hell, but only beautiful places :)

Well done.

The five stars are for the title and comments, not that the photo is bad, I often take into account the message as much as the quality, well done with both, thanks for sharing

Perfectly framed and well composed shot. A good perspective of this seaside cemetery. So beautiful is this cemetery by the sea....good visual impact and nice work maximizing your depth of field with a smaller aperture. Good differentiation and contrast in your scene. The wall in this scene make it dramatic. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

Straight forward shot of what I consider to be an interesting place to visit and a good resting place for the people in there,i would however have got a real lower viewpoint and got the gravestones looking out to sea much more prominent, and therefore giving them much more impact of the view...Brian

Cool shot here. I like the diagonal flow of the grass across the scene. The tomb stones have a grey color that compliments the gray sea and sky. A unique point of view that adds a bit of drama to this peaceful scene. Well done ~ Steve

It is certainly a beautiful spot along the sea. Being a churchyard, I suppose there is much to do over the direction of the traffic. Beautiful colors and excellent composition.

How interesting and unique is this sloping cemetery by the sea. It's looks so serene. Beautiful cross markers give it that tranquil feel. What a beautiful place to be laid to rest. Nice depth of field and beautiful framing. A very unique capture! I've never seen a cemetery like this. Thanks for sharing.

This seems like such an unusual sight to me. I like the uniqueness. The exposure is very nice, as well as your framing. I like how the graduated levels of the wall divides the water and the cemetery with a diagonal slant.

Very preaceful looking cemetary, love all the crosses. Your title could also refer to the preference of where your finally resting place was, down the slope toward the sea or farther up the hill.Like the overcast sky,it's color enhanced by the calm sea, setting an appropriately somber mood to your scene.Wonderful depth of field,a nd I like how the angle of your shot draws the eye along the grave markers to the opposite side of the cemetary.Would definitely find it intetesting to check out the markers as well as the crosses for intetesting detailing. Thanks for sharing!
