Wonderful piece for this contest Linda and I LOVE the way you've titled it.

Your watercolor wash has produced such realistic colors for the water. Really nice. The figures are well detailed w/ good shading and color. Makes me think of summers at Far Rockaway w/ my sisters. Nicely put together piece here. Best of luck w/ it in the contest.

I love this beach season with the two young girls in the ocean. It says summer and spending time with friends. Your color pallet so beautiful with good blending and shading of colors. This is so well done. Beautiful colorful background that blends all the way down to the white waves and the sandy shore. I love how you have the friends wading in the water. So sweet. For my 73rd birthday last Wednesday, my youngest son took me to Cleethorpes, but it was blowing a gale, everyone in coats, all but essential shops closed as there were no visitors. That water looks a bit rough for little girls.Hope they were in the shallow end.
