In flight photos are difficult to take as clearly and in focus as you have done. You have done an excellent job. I just feel we have an over abundance of this particular subject matter. No criticism of your work, but just too much of the same.

Thank you for your comments about this shot specifically. I appreciate that.
I'm posting the female next, hopefully that isn't over abundant. I post a lot of birds, since that is what is in my environment. I also go to the zoo to get shots of more exotic animals that are not accessible to me otherwise.

Very nice stop action shot of this red winged black bird, Gracie. They are so hard to capture because their black is SO black. However, you caught such perfect light in his eye that it really stands out in his black feathers. Love the soft muted background. Such a nice canvas. Very, very nice work. Thanks for sharing.

Very well photographed with perfect freeze of the motion! Nice placement of this in flight bird in the frame, this image is clear and well focused, shows nice detail and good eye contact, blurred background allows a good view without distractions, very well presented!

Well taken shot of the bird in flight. Good stop action with a perfect wing position. The focus is sharp and clear. The color on the wings is very visible, the catch light in the eye adds interest and detail. Good background for displaying the bird. Well seen and well shot.

A beautiful stop action picture of the male Redwing Blackbird in flight on a down stroke exposing the it's red & gold epaulet & it's flight & fanned out tail feathers so we could given time count them. The light catching the sparkle in it's eye.
