Fantastic! I love these birds. I saw my first on my recent visit to Yellowstone and I was in awe of how cool they are. Just a great shot. I love the tight crop composition. So nice to have a green carpet for him to stroll across. Great focus and nice natural colors. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the extra information on these cool birds.

This is a very nice and clear picture of Sandhill Crane. I llke more contrast of the head. It highlights the most important part to be more visible. It would be nice to see this bird in flight too. Grace I like you more and more every day! Hope I made you smile. You deserve the six star again! Happy to be your new friend!

A beautiful bird in excellent light. The colors are great and the composition is attractive. I like the sharp eye and the strut. It looks like he might be on a fairway.

What a majestic looking bird. I like the red patch on his head. He seems to be a heavy bird to be supported by such slender and delicate looking legs. I like the way you filled the frame with the whole body of the bird.

How cool are their eyes?! What a cool orange color!! We get cranes here, not to sure what kind, I might have to go get some pics of them this summer. I love the pop of red on its head. Very focused, the details are very crisp, very nice to look at. I also love the story, who knew they were around for so long. Wow! :D Thank you for sharing!!

Upright, and in perfect focus. This sandhill crane is truly a regal sight.

I would have left just a little more room in front of the subject. Otherwise, the photo is just perfect.

Thank you for sharing.

Lol! He is too sexy! This year is the first time I have seen these guys in person. I saw the couple in flight in April. They landed a bit too far for me to get the detail that I would like. Now they have two signets and are hanging out at one of the local parks! Very cool. Thank you for the high rating on this one too!

Your vertical cropping works well here. superb eye clarity that draws the eye into your photography. Your lighting, focus, details and clarity and contrast are good. Good artists notes and storytelling with your image. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.
