Excellent capture of this impressive Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi and I like the angle you used for this, showing the clear reflections of the bridge and lights and buildings in the calm water. Excellent capture of this impressive Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi and I like the angle you used for this, showing the clear reflections of the bridge and lights and buildings in the calm water. I love the perspective in this photo. I also love how you have played the warm orange off the blue sky. As I looked at it I was reminded of the Roman aqueducts. I know you can't do much about the weather. But a little mist especially entering the city or to have softend the outlines of the buildings would have given it a sense of mystery and magic

I love the perspective in this photo. I also love how you have played the warm orange off the blue sky. As I looked at it I was reminded of the Roman aqueducts. I know you can't do much about the weather. But a little mist especially entering the city or to have softend the outlines of the buildings would have given it a sense of mystery and magic

Your camera technique is well thought out and produces a fine image.
Another great shot of this bridge could be had if you can find a vantage point looking down at the traffic. Use you stated technique and you will have great automobile light streaks.
This take is very good night shot. Keep shooting, the more you shoot the better you get. Don't be afraid to experiment, you might surprise yourself ... B-)) Bob
