A stunning presentation once again and Im looking forward to your 2019 calendar to take the place of the 2018 that is still hanging proudly in my kitchen next to the chilli ristra ..Your structure is ace and I particularly like the trail from foreground to background as each flower becomes more defused in its portrayal. Great work Debs

I just starting working on 2019 a couple of days ago Neil. Takes me awhile to sort out reprints by color, orientation etc etc but am FINALLY ready to get to the fun part now.....actually making them....and you shall have a new one next to the chili ristra soon. Wondered why this iece suddenly have reviews at the end of the week and see someone popped it up into 1st spot. Guess I should check my messages to find the generous member who did that lol
As for your review my friend. Well I REALLY appreciate that you could see the time and effort I put into this piece. Stood there forever determined to get all three blossoms into the photo just right. So you are a peach for seeing and commenting on that AND for giving it and my efforts a gold star. Many many thanks dear Neil.

You are right. Columbine is a fascinating flower and, I will add, a challenge to photograph since those blossoms are often hanging down or otherwise inaccessible to a camera lens. The coloring in your photo is especially good, and thank you for the history of the name.

well taken photo. The colros are beautiful. It's soft and inviting. I like how it's blurred in the background and focus gets clearer towards the front. thanks for sharing.

Oh.....I have missed you & missed seeing these stunning shots from your flower garden. Blue is my favorite color in the garden.....a beautiful well composed natural setting. Very well photographed in good lighting and sharp focus with excellent details in your image. Your wide aperture has rendered the background soft yet recognizable. Beautifully done in your black border and square format. Wish a had a six star for you ....a cyber six. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

Eye-catching photograph of spectacular intricate purple-blue Aquiliglia flowers! I am going to have to keep on the lookout for some! (Columbine is the name I am vaguely familiar with.) Thanks for sharing information about this exciting flower and have a great day! Daphne Oberon
