What a beautiful church!
Yes the red shows beautifully.
Great history here. 1905 to present makes for many many memorable moments held within these walls.
A lovely image.
Excellent colors. Well presented and displayed.

The red color really goes nicely with the green of the pine forest. A great looking church that looks great for having weathered more than a hundred Alaskan winters.

Oh this is a nice one Pat. We recently went to Vermont to see the leaves and saw numerous churches that were framed by Colored Maple trees instead of evergreens. There is always something spiritual about seeing the ediface of a house of worship nestled among nature at its simplest and finest. Nice contrast between the redchurch and the evergreens. Well done Pat ~ Steve

Thank you so very much Steve! I really appreciate your kind and thoughtful review! I bet the ones with maple trees surrounding them are so beautiful, we don?t have maple trees here, although , I am told we can bring them in and plant them and they do well.

Hi Pat!
I guess it's due to me being a former Feral Wiccan and currently a Druid following in the traditions of my ancient Celtic ancestors I'm never really comfortable commenting on pictures of 'churches' or on other subjects pertaining to mainstream religions ( especially not to the Abrahamaic ones! ) but,Hey!
The color Red attracts me too and one can't deny that this is anything other than a genuinely fine looking picture! So here goes-'Good Show',my friend! : D

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this Red Episcopalian Church in Seaward with the fir trees behind making the perfect backdrop & the white windows door frames, roof edges & bell tower & cross making a beautiful contrast to the red walls & doors. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again, it sure is beautiful up there where you live. This is a very good photo of the church. The red stands out nicely against the dark green forest background and the light green grass. Perfectly framed!
