WOW! You snapped the shutter exactly at the right time. It went from a so what shot to a very good one with the birds wings open and with good detail. A very nice photograph!

You're right, Grace - he does look very important with his wings spread out as he lands, making an entrance, although the others don't seem to have noticed! Very good lighting and focus showing great detail. Great composition. Suzanne

I agree that this is a grand entrance! He looks like he's bowing too. His spread out wings give us a great look at the feathers of the wings. Great capture of the falling snow too.

A beautiful stop action picture of the House Sparrow landing in among others looking for food in the snow his wings outspread like an actor taking a bow as the curtains come down at the end of a play. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with super camera techniques & sharp focus.

Your photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in all the birds, and especially in the open wings. I also think the exposure is very good.
The format and framing is very good, and the birds are well placed within the frame. A great looking and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.
