is that where the leprechauns and gold is at? wink..nice captue. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this cool rainbow, sky view and terrain is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Finally a bluer sky with a double rainbow bonus at that!
Fantabulous verdant landscape.
I find this a stunning entry more for colors than for light photo comp...
Just my thoughts though...

Nik,
A beautiful picture of the double Rainbow over Formby in Lancashire... The ",Pot of Gold" appears to be at that large building on the horizon. The blue sky with the pearl grey clouds floating low over the ground & high in the heavens. The green fields & hedgerow help to draw the eye into the centre & the base of the Rainbow. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Quite dramatic!The vivid rainbow and the other that seems to be its muted reflection.Your grasses in the foreground,the yellow green grass in the middle ground;and,too, the rainbow,behind the houses in the background,make for a lovely composition.

I heard rainbows are God's way of reminding us the earth will never flood again like it did when it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. When Noah packed the arc to save the animal species.
