This is a really amazing sky - the color is unusual and reflecting on the water really enhances it. I like the way it is very later in the day yet you can still see the other elements instead of them becoming just black which is what happens when I photograph later sunsets.

Lovely shot. Like you rightly say, the tones of red, yellow, orange, black and white ... these make up an image of beauty, grace, elegance and tranquility. Peace. I really like how the trees to the right go down as depth (distance) increases, as well as the blur of trees in the far background. Depth of field with a combination of toned colors is always entertaining to the eye.

I like the angle you used for this showing the disappearing sun lighting up the sky with purple, pink, red and gold colours, reflecting in the still water with the silhouettes of the trees and shrubs and the snow providing great contrast. The diminishing perspective lends an interesting image.
