Your focus is perfect. The color is well-managed and the composition is pleasing. It's a very nice photo. Hope you fed the donkeys in Oatman Arizona on your route 66 trip

Cool,Nikman!
Neglected
Old hulks like this early nineteen thirties vintage Dodge Brothers four door sedan ( or is it a Graham Paige? ) used to be a fairly common sight out in the western states but, since 'old cars to restore' have been increasing tremendously in price since the 'Well To Do' folks have been getting attracted to that 'hobby' they're getting scarce out there now too!
Your photo of this semi-dismantled rig ( which looks as though it's undergoing a 'Slow Motion' type of restoration ( like my beloved 'Evangeline' has been for over forty years now! )
or a more lucrative 'Relaxed Parting Out' process, is great fun to see! : )
'Good Show',my friend!
~Sean

Nice, this image does make me think of Sean! It's interesting to see this all by itself in the middle of a what looks to be a wide open landscape -without tires! The rust really stands out well too. You captured sharp detail of the car's features...or what's left of it, lol!

This car seems similar to a photo Sean posted recently which were overgrown by weeds. I am sure he appreciates your photo.
The photo is informative. The car seems elevated on something as if on display. One ask what might have happen to the tires. It indeed shows the time related rot and how some parts rust faster then others. The PS adjustments are done nicely. The overall sepia appearance give an old print look to the photo emphasizes the age of the car. The photo is balanced and adequately framed.

Sean will love this shot! Very well photographed with good lighting, sharp focus, and wonderful details and clarity in your image. You have achieved a wonderful perspective. I think your low perspective aids in your composition. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

Wow! This is an awesome old rusted car! It's been stripped of its wheels and it's glass is missing, I see the outer door panel is gone, the roof is wide open! I like to imagine this old car when it was brand new! This is well, photographed with good sharp focus, the image is clear, exposure is perfect, the colors and tones are natural. This is well composed and presented!

This is a very interesting photo. I captures the eye very well and the colours look good in it. I think it could be improved a little if the car was not placed in the centre of the photo. It is a focal point of the photo and it might even stand out more if it was slightly off-centred. Other than that, I wouldn't change anything.

I like the way you have filled the frame with the subject. Also there are no distracting elements in the background. There is also that little bit of shrubbery in the foreground which acts as a bit of framing drawing the viewer into the frame. Very good composition.

Nik,
An interesting shot of this slowly rusting Hulk of a 1930s/40s era looking car in the dry atmosphere of the Painted Desert (I think it might have disintegrated faster on our DAMPER Islands?) Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Pleased you found my shot to be interesting! Yes, I think you are absolutely correct about it rusting far quicker over here!!

A very nicely composed shot in a great setting. I especially like the rendering of the high desert weeds in the background. The detail in the old ruster is fantastic and the colors could not be better
