Lovely capture of the wood duck swimming across the pond. The reflections in the water make the duck stand out as if in a spotlight. Nice ripples in the water. Good color and detail in the duck. Well captured image. Good luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of the Wood Duck Drake attired in his very exotic & colourful plumage swimming above his reflection on the softly rippled water on which the sky & clouds above are reflected making interesting patterns on it's surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Really a beautiful bird. I really do like the look of this picture. You say it is clouds but when I saw it I thought it was oil.
I see these birds a lot but am not able to get close enough to shoot. The usually will fly.
