I like how you have several frames with different views of the action. You are good at not being overly graphic while still getting the point across. I still get a kick out the acorn designs on the squirrels' shields :)

    Well I had to put something to represent the squirrels..of all the nuts acorns are very recognizable. Thanks for the great review

Owee, zowee squirrel--take that!! Hey bird, don't just fly by. It's your da-- feeder. HELP!! For our sacrifices beating off the squirrels we get all the grain we want, and don't you forget it. Otherwise, we'll just let the squirrels have it and see what that'll do for you--starve!

The battle seems to get very hot The squirrels seem to have retreated to the source of the war. The battle seem hot and personal now. One against one. Kill or be killed. There are expression in all the faces in different degrees of hate and fear. It seems you have not many more to draw. I can already imagine how the cartoons flow into each other when the video is done. Keep up the good work...This video will be one of your best.

    You know Cleo this is the 1st time that I have drawn in sequence to the story..most of the time I'm knocking out what I would think which scene is most challenging to get out of the way..this is video is 95% in sequence.. only 2 drawings I did last year for me pitching the story to Bryan Taylor. I have a funny story for ya ..let's pretend we are all in a bird world and each one of us are different birds...Tom he is the eagle. Making sure everything is fair and he will eat that offenders lunch.. Cleo you would be the wise and all seeing owl..seshadri would be a peacock.. Lucian would be a falcon...sange would be a Heron.. course I would go on and on about different members compared to other birds..then I would just shut up and wait for you to ask that nagging question..."well Mark what bird would you be?"..I would give classic evil grin and say..."well a loony bird of course silly!' wink wink..lol
    Thanks for the great review

    Not silly at all! That gives me some ideas, but how I get all those birds in one painting.... Work for me I guess. :O}

Pow, bang, boom. Those mice are not to be played with. And look at them they have some serious hand to hand skills.And those little buggers are brave and crazy. The birds dropped them in and he looks amped up. Takes a special kind of field mouse to kill someone with bare hand and a bow and arrow. Love it again can't wait for more. Thanks John

Well, your warned everyone that the ending wasn't going to be happy or pretty. I have been ouching through the last several. But you have kept them true to your concept and color palette. Well done you!

There is definitely a LOT of action going on here Mark! Love the facial expressions. You show grit, determination and pain. War is never a pretty site, but even in your cartoon like drawings you can strongly feel the emotions of the warriors. Impact is the word for this image! :o) Nancy

And the battle starts to come to an end. The birds continue to circle and provide support. Interesting set of cells to follow. Pushing that PG-12 rating toward an R. Well drawn, of course, nice details, good color.
