I love the composition. The three colors going across are so pretty together. The blue the gold and brown. The bird is so pretty with its metallic looking feathers. It is simply beautiful.

We don't always think of them as a pretty bird (more of as a nuisance). But when the sun hits them from the right angle they do glow with color. You have captured this moment well. Good sharp focus. Goo color. Well controlled light. Nice back ground. Nicely done.

Thus is a fine shot of this little bird. The blurred background is a nice foil and enhances and pops out your main subject. Great use of light and I love that petrol blue sheen which highlights various details and draws the eye as a focal point.
