This is a Perfect entry for the contest...Abstract and titled so to true to fit. It really reminds me of a Galaxy of space and time, only better. What I love most about this is your poem that goes along with it so beautifully and is so spiritual. So endearing FS..
so Well written and expressed. Best of the Best in the contest...A winner in my eyes!

An intriguing image that might well be what the beginning looked like. It has a pleasant liquid look about it and the play of the light is fantastic. Best of luck in the contest.

Yes. The entire universe is abstract. You have hit upon a novel entry! Imaginatively created and presented. The light and dark is eye catching. Good luck in the contest!

This work really caught my eye. Not only is it unusual, but the prose makes it all that much more interesting and compliments the photo. The clarity, structure and colors all work to make this a great composition. Well done!!

yes some excellent work and special effect on this one. excellent in the way it reflects the birth and subsequent development. it looks completely realistic, especially the sphere like structure that rewards the viewer as the focal interest.

It would be interesting to know what this started off as before you created the outstanding looking galaxy :) I like the lighting and the textures very much.

Hi Grace. Thank you for your review and comments.
Actually Grace this was a shot looking straight down into a lake from a small bridge. The sun was dappling in the waves creating flashes light. There was a little bit of rain and the rings you see are from a single rain drop. There were some natural air bubbles coming up which added to the scene. I shot a burst of 25-30 shots trying to get a nice glistening of sunlight off the water. Many of the images reminded me of one of those pictures from the Hubble telescope so I took it from there. Maybe this is what the Birth of a Galaxy might look like if we could see it.
Hope that is not too much information. I normally do not talk about the original but for you anytime.
Thanks again Grace ~ Steve

You really edited this smartly. I cannot find out what your original photo showed. There seems something bubbling illuminated by a some light fixture behind, but I don't know what it is. It could be indeed something a astronaut could see traveling to far away galaxies. The planet and star features are intriguing. The golden light is attractive. The composition is excellently framed and balanced.

Thank you so much Cleo. It is good to know that the original image is not obvious and that the abstract quality allows the viewer to use their imagination. Thank you again Cleo ~ Steve

Steve, this is an unusual post! I like how the title of this one gives the direction for my mind to understand your idea. Cosmos and stars and planets as part of our galaxy. The poem supports and explains clearly your feelings, your emotions, your thoughts. I did my review of the image before you wrote the poem. But I came back to change my review and change the rating from 5 star to 6 stars! I did that because the post is complete now! Great abstract Art reflecting the Great hand of the Almighty Master!!! I love the contrast colors and energy of this piece! Well done! Good luck in the contest!

Thank you very much Lucas. I am still working on the poem to go with this. Remember we have to have a poem for every posting. I will be out of town from July 4 -10. So any time after the 10th is OK to send the painting. I want to be sure I am here to receive it.

Sounds good! Writing poems is more difficult for me that anything else. But I wanted to try because I love how Dave does.

Wow. Thank you so much BFF. I have to confess. I cheated on this one. I used a full tablespoon of finely ground Magic Dust and half a teaspoon of Granulated Star Dust to get this the way I wanted. I will probably be disqualified for that but I think it was worth it.
I am so glad you like it BFF. You know Space is mostly Empty space. So from one Spacey mind to another I am honored by your review and Grand rating. You are the Best BFF ~ BFF
