Does tell a story as such about a mothers love for the brood and like the fact its the mother duck is touching one of thhe ducklings,good moment to catch,not what I expected for my contest,but it works on a different level,jthanks for entering just hope more people do,i do try to to get across different subjects on here,but don,t think everybody gets it,oh well...Brian

This is such a gentle and touching scene that it warms the heart. I adore the gentle "kiss" between the mother and duckling. The ripples in the water from their swimming create a pretty textured surface on the water.

I have never seen ducks feed their young although it appears to be what is happening here. The ducklings are very well shown as it their mother. Best of luck in the contest.

A great entry for the "A Story to Tell" contest. What a brood. Eight of these little guys must be a handful for mother.

One can see all the attention and work that she must do and it is only day 2-3. A lot of work yet to come.
