The fuzzy hairs of this buff tailed bee are so soft looking that one would not think that it can sting. I like the cone like flower center upon which it is resting. The light reflections on the wings make look cellophane like.

very cool. the clarity is excellent. the angle of the shot of this bee on the colorful flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. great eye and awesome work overall

This macro is especially well focused. Bee and flower are sharp. The refined details as the hears on the body of the bee and the spikes of the cone flower are impressive. The light reflection on the transparent wings is intriguing. The shallow background emphasizes bee and flower. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The photo is well composed and framed.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bee, and the exposure is just perfect.
The tight cropping is very good and the bee has got a very good placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
