Nik,
a beautiful picture of these two ladies walking along the beach near the Giant's Causeway up there in the "Wee North" the Irish sea with wind tossed waves soon to crash in the beach. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Very nice, natural shot, slice of life. Good clear shot of the women on the beach and the water behind them. It is not an angry sea but definitely an active sea. we get the feel of the wave size and motion. The women don't seem to be on a casual walk, but rather a brisk walk and animated discussion. Good control of the scene. Good color.

The woman look small on the background of huge waves, but jet the draw our eyes immediately. The reasons are that their close has different color which stands out from the unobtrusive colors of the background and that they are well placed in the frame. The dark color of the sand emphasizes the woman further. The colors are realistic. The photo is focused and has good depth. Details are crisp throughout. The natural light is well handled. I appreciate that there are no blow outs where the water reflects the light.

Its such simple subject and image of it that it works wonderfully! Love the setting those two walkers seeming talking and looking at each other really works wonders! The seawater is superb with the action of the waves, the highlighted contrasts with in, those shadows of the walkers also give depth and interest as well as showing where the light is coming drom and what sort of light it is!! I would have given this 6 if I had any!

I'm learning from you on this one. Art is in the eye of the beholder and anyone can be the beholder once they open their eyes.. This shot is not complicated yet it's art because of way the light from the sun is just a kiss, the white crested waves are gentle and the presence of people all give this shot a nice balance. Great shot!

I'm learning from you on this one. Art is in the eye of the beholder and anyone can be the beholder once they open their eyes.. I love to walk along the beach, you have photographed the water very well, stopping the waters movement, nice show of the waves washing in , well focused, nice clear image, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural, I wish that the two women were more to the right leaving more room in front of them. Still, they bring life to this scene as well as giving scale to the size of the waves. Well presented!
