Wow Nancy, what an amazing closeup of this snake! I think the absolute clarity in detail really shows off the beautiful texture in its skin. It's almost like looking at a fabulous abstract work of art! Kudos for getting this close! And for a remarkable shot!

You do work that I can't do, that I am amazed at, so I'm challenged as well. Another close up of a snake and as perfect taken and mixed media treated as the previous. The sharply refined details of the scales and the natural colors are impressive. The snake is well placed into the frame; the eye perfectly right of center. The tight framing is interesting and adequate.

I hate snakes Nancy, but I just have to creep to the cross and admit that you have indeed captured this one well. I especially like the close and personal approach, and how well you have brought out the textures of the snake's skin. You have also captured the eye really well, and I can clearly see the image of you. Would probably not have noticed if you had not told me, but it is clearly there.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the snake, and the exposure is perfect.
I really like the fractualius effect you have added because of the fine shine it has brought out, and I also think the tight cropping is working well. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo Nancy.
