Suzanne,
A beautiful image of what makes me think of an Ostrich Plumes on a Victorian Lady's hat at the Ascot races or a Royal Garden Party. Created by your artist's eye for composition knowledge of colours and paints and other artist's fluids and how they react with one another when mixed together in bringing this feather to life.

The shape of your feather is very nice! I like the curve and frilly ends that you created. The colors really spread out nicely and gave the design some nice looking depth and texture.

This looks GREAT,Suzanne!
I'm thinking that it might be a feather that's fallen from the snake-like body of that vampiric Pterosaur whose picture I posted a coupla' days ago! ( Several known species of Pterosaur are thought to have had coats of fine hair and clumps of feathers so why shouldn't my imaginary specimen have them as well? : ) )
Seriously though,Suzanne,this is Wonderful!

Wow Suzanne! This one is beautiful! I love feathers, especially when I find them on the ground, this is so pretty, it shows it's delicate structure and I love the twist! The deep blue and various variations of tone with that white are working so well together to create a beautiful twisted feather! Well presented!

R.R. How exactly did you come by Gypsy Rose Lee's feathers ? There is a story there and I'm going to get to the bottom of it. Apparently you have some very interesting skeletons in your closet . The Grand Grupta Of The Land Of Abstractia has done it again !! The coconut farmers must love you R.R.
