This is a good outdoor shot of the dragonfly doing some acrobatic move! The light is good. The colours are natural. Overall it has been composed well. Thanks for sharing!

Very beautiful capture with the soft colors and great details. Dragonflies are fun to capture although it can be a challenge at times. Nice work on the composition.

It looks as if the Meadowhawk is bowing to the audience. I like the pose which allows us a good view of all its body parts. The bowed legs are especially interesting and I can imagine how the are used as basket. The broken branch is also interesting and seems to amplify the pose of the insect. The photo is perfectly focused and exposed. The dragonfly and the branch show sharp refined detail. The shallow background emphasizes the Meadowhawk and its branch. The photo is well composed and framed.

Grace, I just love this Yoga pose you captured.

This one is a wonderful color with the surrounding elements and colors all giving way to a perfect specimen.

Hi Grace!
There's a Beautiful picture of what I consider to be a Beautiful creature,my friend!
Those long, elegant, powerful wings that Dragonflies have developed-over the course of millions of years-from an extra set of legs that some truly primitive arthropod didn't have a need for anymore.
(perhaps these creature's existing six legs will evolve into something else in the future! Evolution is a mysterious force! : )

Thank you very much for the six stars Sean! I know you are partial to these guys too. They are fascinating and it's fun to imagine how their legs might evolve in the future!
