Great looking combination of orange and green colours! This is a wonderful shot of the wild flower. You have framed it well. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Thanks for sharing!

A gentle flower growing wild!

Fantabulous color contrast!

Fine simple floral features & smooth textures.

Would also look great in a square framing...
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

Thanks for sharing...

'Awesome',Grace!
'The Devil's Paintbrush'!
We have these over here in upstate New York too and I've always been very fond of 'em!
( I even had someone say that I made use of a 'Devil's Paintbrush' to create some of my 'darker' traditional artwork 'back in the day'! Lol! )
Your photo of this bee-yoo-tee-full wildflower is Outstanding! : )

I think this is a truly pretty Wild flower, and With lovely Orange hues. The green background is therefore Perfect, and the flower is standing out from it in an excellent way.

The photo is Sharp showing Clear and well defined details in all parts of the Bloom. Nothing wrong With the exposure either.

The format Works well and the flower has got a fine placement a bit off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and With a excellent DOF.

I have both the orange and yellow hawkweed growing in my lawn, along with most every other kind of weed. A nicely composed shot with great colors.

Oooo, I like the devil's paintbrush name. It suits that fiery red color. The orange throat and many stamens create a delicate but hearty looking bloom. I lobe the jagged tips to the many layered petals.
