This is a fantastic entry into this contest Katya. You have not posted anything for ages, and I missed Your work. It is therefore great to see how well you have captured this colorful bug. The background looks fantastic With the light behind the leaf, and the bug is standing out from this leaf in an excellent way.
Your Focus is spot on and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in every part of the bug, and the exposure is just Perfect.
The format and framing could not have been better and the bug has got a very good placement off to the right. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

Very interesting bug indeed! I see such good detail on this large bug with blue and red body, I like it's position on the green leaf!
