Very beautiful and interesting photograph of a sunrise and windmill . Natural colors and tones in the scene, good composition and well framed. Overall, a Very Beautiful Sunrise Landscape Photograph, well done Len!

Hahah!
I'm sure they were built for each other!

Glorious sunrise first gleaming on that horizon like a peeking shimmering eye of a meerkat on a night shift duty...

Fantabulous colors with a painterly feel.
Nice one-sided dramatic illumination.

Nice subject placement as I could not request you to illuminate the propellers for more impact!

How about a sunset shot?!?

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

I know, never a restaurant when you need one !! Well, first time I've had standing clapping and cheering ... much appreciation for that alone. Many thanks indeed.

This photo is perfect. The colors and the light are phenomenal. The reflection on the wall of the windmill is especial impressive. The dark silhouettes emphasize the beautiful colors remarkably. The photo is excellently focused and exposed. It has immaculate depth and is sufficiently framed. The composition is balanced.

Thank you so much cleo, really glad you liked it. Really appreciate the glowing review and of course the six. The light was exceptional and I keep meaning to get up at stupid o'clock to repeat it but rarely manage.

Hi Len, Love the windmill against the rising sun. There is just something magical about it! It was definitely worth the trouble of getting up early. I also like the positioning of the windmill in the shot. The lighting couldn't be any better and the clarity is super. Very worthy of six stars! A real joy to view! :o) Helvi

Thank you so much Helvi for the fantastic review and the rating. I'm not really fully conscious at that time in the morning and sort of running on auto pilot. Surprises me that I remembered to take off the lens cap for this one :-)

Leaving the lens cap on happens! LOL I'm sure glad you took it off in this shot! :o)

A beautiful image. I was wondering if both shots were taken at the same focal length. In any event it is certainly eye grabbing. A fine composition with great colors.

Yep, both at the same focal length and on a tripod. I just needed a slightly lighter image for the windmill otherwise it would have been a silhouette. Thanks loads for the review and the rating, don't have to tell you it is appreciated.
