Cool,LeeAnn!
That's a fine looking picture,my friend!
It reminds me of the one I found curled up in the tall grass during one of my 'creative trespassing' expeditions near an old farm house several years ago!
( I tried snapping a picture of it but it scampered off when I clumsily touched it with my boot! : 0 )

Thanks so much Sean! Don?t you know you aren?t supposed to give them the ?boot?-lol! At least it didn?t scream bloody murder like one of mine did, scared the crap out of me(I was walking AWAY from it),and cause the doe to come charging down the slope, she was NOT happy with me(was a grumpy doe anyway, always stamped off with her fawns anytime she saw me).Only time I have ever been concerned about my safety around the deer, just kept talking to her and she finally walked off,but kept an eye on me.After that, anytime I came across a fawn I hoped it wasn?t hers! :)

At first I thought I'd happened upon a GOAT,LeeAnn! And being kinda leery about forms of 'Black Magic' ( of which there's a lot around here! ) I was ready to run myself! : 0

Great capture of this cute little fawn! Your excellent sharpness and the lovely light render superb detail in the fawn, especially the fur. Great entry for the contest! Best of luck!

Oh my goodness ! Precious one indeed! This is such a wonderful capture of this sweet little new born Bambi, I love the way he is all curled up in the dried leaves in the woods. Spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, your exposure is perfect, colors and tones are natural, I see good detail over every visible part of this precious baby, I can even see the eyelashes! Well composed allowing a good sense of this location. Well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
