Grace,
A beautiful picture of the Tree Sparrow perched on a twig sticking out of the deep snow as it watches you the snow creating a perfect backdrop for the Sparrow. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It seems like a dangerous convention for such a little bit of fluff; how do they ever keep their eggs safe? What cold feet this little tyke must have! I wonder if they get chilblains, lol...

Thank you! I always wonder about their feet too but I'm sure they are built to handle the weather - I hope!

It seems the bird found a twig to rest on before it continues its search for food. Surely finding food in so many inches of snow is not easy. The photo is well focused and exposed. Details are excellently refined. I appreciate the realism of light and color. The bird is well placed in the frame. The composition is balanced.

Awe, what a pretty little bird! Very nice pose on the twigs poking out from the snow,
Well focused, clear image with good exposure, colors and tones appear natural, he looks very similar to the Redpolls we have here. I especially like that little red cap! Well composed and presented!
