Nice shot of this wood stork you were quite a long way from this I presume and this I expect was taken on a zoom lens, the feathers seem a tad blurred but does not distract from the overall image, nice one...Brian

A cute & candid capture!!
The low vantage point enhanced the visual language and power dynamics of this wildlife image.

Sharply focused.
Fine features & smooth textures.
Nice refreshing colors.
Thanks for sharing...

Very sharp face and feathers. White can be easy to blow out but you did a nice job in preserving the detail in the feathers. Bird is placed in a power spot in image. Nice capture!

Barbara.
A beautiful picture of this Wood Stork busy building it's nest in the top of the tree, the light highlighting it's puffed up white plumage, while the clear blue sky provides the perfect backdrop. Beautiful composition framing & lightning, taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus

This is such a cool picture! I never see these birds so it is cool to see a picture like this. It is in good focus and I like the color tone. I also like the background. Thanks for sharing. :)

Nice shot here Barbara. The placement of the stork is effectively right of center balanced by the green leaves of the nesting tree.

Focus is good and the colors are well rendered. The blue background accents the bird and nest very well. Nicely done Barbara ~ Steve

Thank you so much for the great review! I took this photo when I was visiting St. Augustine, Florida. I never see Woods Storks where I live in Illinois.

She is a handsome girl. Her beautiful white plumage looks exquisite against the blue sky. She seems hard at work, so that the nest should be ready soon for the first egg of the spring season. The photo is well focused and exposed. It is through sharp and the colors are realistic. The bird is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Cool,Barbara!
Those Storks are fascinating creatures, aren't they?
They have a neat 'Prehistoric' kind of a look to them and your picture of this one working on it's nest in the tree tops looks Great!

Hi Barbara, You must have been thrilled to be able to capture a shot like this! To see a stork in the act of building a nest would be wondrous! I love both the lighting and focus of the shot.... not to mention the action. Very Nicely Done and worth a six in my book! :o) Helvi
