I have seen these beautiful flowers longtime ago in a corner of the Kirstenbosch garden near Cape Town; I've ben told I was Lucky because they only last a few days;

My husband has just removed several of these from our garden - like the flower but the plant just takes over. Nicely composed showing the detail of the flower well with good focus.

Thank you for your review. Yes they tend to take over; you have to be diligent in removing the baby plants that pop up.

A beautiful image. I like the overhead perspective and the beautiful soft light. The blossom is shown in fine detail and the colors are fantastic.

The African iris is so delicate and beautiful and makes me think of an Orchid,
This I like these six white petals with an orange pattern on the lower center of each petal, the three lavender petals coming up from the center.
This is well focused, this image is clear , exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural. The raindrops give this such a look of freshness! Well composed and presented!
