Jesuel,
thank you for the time you spent to look, the comments they are appreciated.
Don't you think the bug adds a little bit of fun to the image... adds to the prospective, the depth as well.
Comment from JirinaInspire
Excellent composition and presentation of this so healthy kale and bug leaving. On the first look I thought that middle section of the picture is a bug leaving - maybe the corona bug that is bugging all of us. Perfect contest entry, well done!

Jirinal,
thank you for several things, the time you spent to look, the comments and then the 6 stars, all are appreciated, beyond what mere words can express.

This is an unusual example of foreshortening, but it works well and surely draws our attention. The unusual angle amplifies especially the water drops, but the insect won't be unobserved either. The center of the photo is perfectly emphasized by the framing. The composition is balanced. The photo is excellently focused and exposed.

I like the close up of this plant; I would never have guessed this would be kale! I think it's great that photographers like yourself can showcase small parts of the world like this and present to us the aesthetics that we miss out on. I also like the rich detail and how the light plays across all of it in a gentle manner.

Andre,
thank you for the compliment, I'm just an average guy taking what I find interesting. And then hoping others do as well.

Not sure what to make of this, did not quite understand the meaning of the contest, think its also why not many have entered it,its different and unique to take a photo of kale, looks almost abstract in this,different...brian

Brian,
as I understand it: "In Fine Arts or in this case a photo. The objective is to reduce or distort (parts of a represented object that are not parallel to the picture plane) in order to convey the illusion of three-dimensional space as perceived by the human eye: often done according to the rules of perspective. to abridge, reduce, or contract; make shorter."
So, Does the photo show depth and perspective, is the question ? For me it does. I guess the other aspect is it a good photo, as far as lighting, clarity, interesting subject, etc. are concerned ? for me again it does.
thank you for your time and comments. you should give it a try, enter the contest.

your welcome, think I understand[am a bit thick though lol]but still think I will give this one a miss

This is a very eye catching image. The textures are amazing. The colors ranging from the pale gray to the greens really makes this photo.
The foreshortening is well done and effective. The insect is a nice addition as it gives a sense of perspective and adds a point of interest.
Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the judging ~ Steve

Great display of textures. Should have been a great entry too for that incoming Texture Contest. It looks a bit grainy it my screen, maybe you can soften it, a bit or next time, lower your ISO. Well framed and great focus showing clarity of textures and colors.
