A beautiful picture of the Statue of Liberty in New York showing a close up of her head the coronet of the sun's rays, her eye looking up the the flaming lantern she holds in her right hand, (A small version of this is to be found on the bank of the river Seine in Paris.) Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It is indeed an beautiful and dramatic shot,I like how you have photographed this,focusing the attention on Lady Liberty's head and the detailing in her face. Lighting is perfect,image is sharp and crisp against a colorless sky,this would look great converted to b&w. An excellently composed image,you should have entered this into the statue contest!

Oh yes, she is famous. I think anybody around the world recognizes her. She is a symbol of freedom and liberty. You photo is excellent focused, enhanced and adjusted. I enjoy the sharpness of detail. The colorless background is sufficient. The statue is perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Yes, it is sad with what is going on. Reckon it probably will be difficult for too many nutters to get into Liberty Island!

I really like the close and personal approach, because usually we just see the whole sculpture pictured. The colorless sky is perfect for the statue to stand out in an excellent way, and I also like how well the textures are brought out.
The photo is very sharp showing really clear and well defined details, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the tight cropping and the placement of the statue within the frame. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo of the Statue of Liberty Nikman.

Hooray for Miss Liberty! A wonderful portrait of this monumental sculpture. Focus, color, and texture are faithfully represented. We'd better pray that the budding revolutionaries in the country don't want to tear her down.
