I love the colours here. Almost surreal... there is a beautiful calmness and tranquillity in this scene and I compliment you on its capture.
The position you chose has given us much to enjoy. I particularly like the sun setting away from the middle. This I think has allowed a contrast in the way light has made colour and shadows to each side so different resulting in a fine display of depth and texture. It's a very lovely photograph.

although I view ALL your photographs with curiosity and watched several 'Alaska' programs, I would not have guessed this to be Alaska if I saw it without explanation. Maybe it is that sunset, yet I know the north has sharp summers, as so many birds migrate up there for the summer. Is that sea weed, yes, do you have lots of crabs and things hiding in that mud, or is that only in our sandy beaches?

Beautiful as always. Love the warm colors in the sky as the clouds blend in behind the mountain. Beaches amaze me with their hidden shapes and textures left exposed at low tide. Life has been very busy for me. Congrats on being #2 in rankings.

An interesting view. The sunset is beautiful and the mudflats at low tide are very nicely shown. I would look at cropping so as to emphasize the sunset more by making it into more of a panorama.

Pat,
A beautiful sunset picture over Anchor Point the sun's disc glowing through the mist & a sunbeam from it doing a !Hop, skip & jump across the sea & the pools in among the wet seaweed clinging to the beach. The mountains along the horizon the clouds along the horizon floating below the mountain peaks seen through the mist . Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a beautiful view. The blue water and the reflection on the seaweed covered beach look incredible. The low sun provides a good contrary to the reflecting blue water, The water runoff leads our eyes pleasantly into the background. The photo is well focused and exposed and has impressive depth. The landscape is perfectly framed.

The visual concept of distance is well displayed in this photograph. The panorama presentation was well chosen as it totally enhances the depth of this beautiful scene. The distant mountain peak in the center and the faded sun on the right add to the dimensionality of the picture. Well done and beautiful. Reasons for my five star vote.
