Quite an otherworldly scene. The red mounds are shown in very fine detail and stunning color. I wonder how they came to be. Best of luck in the contest.

Oh very interesting. They look alien from another planet scoring down to earth red hot and liquid then splat, cooled down they look really where'd but very interesting. You photograph tells a story, real or imagined. A fine shot of the strange smoother surfaces in contrast to the rougher earth they stand on. Love the colours you captured, has texture and i like your low positioning for this.
