Hopefully this catastrophic impact on the forest will be short lived. A very nice shot with crisp detail in the burnt out trees and fine colors. Best of luck in the contest.

It is sad to see forests like this, but the photo is fine entry into this contest. I have only seen burnt forests like this once before, and that was in Greece. Now, a few years later, the same landscape is green again. I like the contrast between the different colors of the ground, and the burnt trees are standing out sharp from the blue sky.
The photo is sharp with fine details, and the exposure is very fine.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and it is a fine balance in the composition. A sad sight indeed, but a well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
