A very nice shot. I like the underlit clouds and the beautiful diffraction rays around the sun. The composition is excellent and the colors are outstanding.

This is a breathtaking sunrise, and the colors are just out of this world. I just love the star effect around the sun, and to obtain this I suppose also the timing must be good.
The distant hills are standing out sharp and well defined against the sky, and I also like how well you have captured the fine reflections from the rising sun in the sea. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped and with the sun off to the right, it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Fred.
I am surprised you were allowed to go Greece in theses days. Do you have to be in quarantine when coming home ?

p.s. fred if you get chance visit chania while you are there and go to the museum on the front well worth a visit.

Your technical process with the camera is spot on. You have captured the sun with the starburst rays perfectly. The afterglow is starting to intensify the brilliant colors. Having the sky being the majority of the scene is a great decision.

The sun colouring the sky above in a beautiful soft orange that also tints the clouds floating overhead, that is then reflected on the sea below.
