it is indeed a beautiful capture....i am enjoying your fine composition....the subtle colour tones of the rose are awesome....the texture of the petals is nicely captured...focus and clarity is superb...the wooden fence in the background add charm to the photo....overall very impressive...good luck for the contest....

I think the both photos of the rose shows colors that subtle have this visual transition from those light pinks to the white within pedals displaying a softness and visual warmth that for me was delicate and undeniable. The challenge for me was, could I capture that by just using the natural light that was available.

A beautiful picture of this single white rose with a slight pink blush to it's petals. that resemble a ballerina's Tutu as she twist around on her points the rough wooden fence creating a beautiful contrasting backdrop. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

This is indeed a special looking rose Lucien, and you are right, it actually looks like it is dancing. I also think the pale pink colors give the rose such a delicate look. It is lovely the way the light is falling on the flower, and it is also standing out well from the background.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the petals of the rose, and the white balance and exposure is perfect.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works really well, and the rose has got a fine placement within the frame. I do however find the rose in the background a bit distracting. Especially since it is sitting right behind your main rose. Still this is an all together lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Never seen a rose like this, love the fence in the background, the colour white is well taken here, with shade and shadows, it would be dancing in the wind being so flat lol
