this chap or lady is of great interest to me. I struggle with faces of birds etc as I live in a city. I can paint you roofs on roofs as many types as you want, but actual faces of birds and animals is a mystery to me. Thank you for this help, it will be sketched into my 'art note book' forthwith!

Well I envy you,I would love to photograph some eagles! This is a stunning portrait of a majestic raptor,I love the detailing in it's plumage,the beautiful eye clarity and that incredible beak. A gorgeous image that is well focused with beautiful exposure and colors.

I hope that you get the opportunity to photograph them. You know, you can always come to Alaska, to see lots of them, of course, you would bring a deer skull along for photo ops too!

I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color. The square format is sufficient. The Eagle is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

This is a great looking portrait of a Bald Eagle, and I especially like the dark background and how lovely the light is falling on the bird. You have also captured the eye really well, and the bird is standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird, and both the white balance and the exposure is perfect.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the Eagle has got a very good placement off to the left. A truly beautiful and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.
