Who has the gold makes the rules, I like that... in any case whatever rules you are given I am sure you will come up with the goods. Like here. A picture telling a story . The visuals are excellent. Your men in the water are good drawn and equally balanced to give a total balance to the overall. Construction good, colours realistic to the story. I hope you got a big pot of gold.

Oh yes I got to paid but my drawings are not that expensive. Folks are not going to pay major bucks for a cartoon in ink...unless I'm dead..lol..my oldest kid ask me one time if I was trying to get famous? I told her no darling. Dad is just trying to get paid..wink. thanks for the great review

Another great one from the master. Always great colors and art with an idea. I think it is really great you have a plan for your work. Your work could be put on Teddy Bears and sold across the country and around the world. You could Flood the market. Every kid needs one with a kid video or a pull string that plays a video. Priceless!!!

Our industry is just like those guys in the acting and music field. You have to put yourself out there to hope that someone of money and influence will notice you. Here is the sad part .when the actors and musicians make it big..major bucks..when one of us artist make it big chump fee..shows ya we do have true love in our field. Wink wink..lol. thanks for the great review

Needless to say that your sharpie handling is excellent, and that you have placed shadows exactly where they should be. I also like the adding of the rays from the sun.
The format and framing is perfect, and I think it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a great looking and well done drawing Mark, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Mark, There is magic in what you do! No matter what the subject is, you create it with style! I imagine this was a commision for a military piece. This piece hits you in the core of your stomach. You immediately realize the danger and what the prayers of this soldier must be.Your images always have impact whether humorous or serious. Very Nicey Done! I know most of the time I identify myself as a cartoonist but I have been an illustrator for years. One time someone made the comment that they gonna check out my portfolio..I'm replied that your gonna be bored! There is over 1000 drawings there and will get bored flipping the pages. Then I would direct them to my YouTube video..more fun..wink..thanks for the awesome review

Bored is not the word I would use for flipping thru your portfolio Mark! I'm a fan of yours because I LOVE what you do both as an illustrator and cartoonist! You know how to covey feelings and that's an awesome gift! Your artist skills aren't bad either! LOL :o)

Very cool Troop. This reminds me of SEAL training. I had 8 SEALs in my stick when I went through jump school. Man those guys were tough.
I think this is a very much needed reminder to all the civilians who are constantly downing the military.
