it's hard to tell if that is a friendly dog or waiting for his pack to knock us down and shred us to pieces! hopefully they are skidish. nice coloring on his face

I like the presentation that shows this bush dog as viewed downover. The loss of tail area and paws is always, if done deliberately, out of the box and I like that.

I like the presentation that shows this bush dog as viewed downover. The loss of tail area and paws is always, if done deliberately, out of the box and I like that.

Hi Cleo, Your Bush Dog is very interesting. In my eyes this dog resembles a hyena, a polar bear and a fox. LOL I don't know why I see that but this dog certainly has a unique look. I have never heard about this animal before, so before I started to review this, I looked it up in Google. Then of course, I also found out that the likeness in your painting is remarkable. I especially like the limited color pallet, and also the fine textures to be seen both in the background and the fur of the bush dog.
It is also easy to see that this was done paying very good attention to details, and also the use of high lights is very good. Your brush work is excellent.
I think the tight framing is working well, and the animal has got a fine placement on the canvas. A truly lovely and well done digital painting Cleo.

that is very lovely to see and view. so many of the earths species, if not all are threatened by extinction and the way we are carrying on us to. this has a wonderful 3d effect and the head and face look keen and purposeful. he has such a cute expression and a fab, rich fur (which you skillfully depicted).
